Scott is an Executive Director and Chartered Engineer with 30 years' experience of the global power industry with considerable expertise spanning engineering, project management, operations, P&L management, business development, strategy and growth leadership focused on the distributed power generation, renewables and transmission & distribution sectors. Scott has held multiple executive leadership, senior operational and engineering positions within professional services, advisory, B2B service and project delivery organizations ranging from publicly-listed PLCs to family owned businesses and also PE-backed start-ups. This wide variety of professional experience has been built whilst Scott has worked and lived internationally over the last 20+ year period.

Shepherd was also a non-executive director of Ashtead Technology Rentals in Aberdeen, Houston and Singapore, Avalon Aviation Services in Dubai and Libertine FPE (a free piston engine start-up) as well as a special advisor to KarPower International, a Turkish company which convert ships into floating power stations.
