Managing Partner - Jamie Shepherd
Jamie was born in Nigeria in 1972 and has lived in numerous countries in Africa , Middle East and Asia . Jamie was with Aggreko International PLC for 25 years and was appointed to the International Board in 2005. He held numerous senior executive positions culminating in him becoming MD Africa in 2010 executing projects such as the World Cup Football in South Africa and the first cross Boarder IPP with Eskom . Operating in 37 African Countries with over 2 GW of power delivering 54% of the Aggreko PLC profits. In 2017 James became the CEO of Altaaqa Global Energy Services leading the turnaround of the business through COVID with Multi Megawatt of power projects secured across South America , Africa and Kazakhstan. Jamie Founded Agile Power in 2017 and became Managing Partner of Agile in 2022.
Managing Partner - Patrick O Driscoll
As a Founding Member / Managing Partner of Agile Power Group, Patrick’s career spans over three decades within the global power and energy sector, having held senior management and board positions within both public and private sector organisations. Patrick originally from Scotland is today a Scottish Business Ambassador for the Scottish Development International leveraging his global sales and business network. Patrick leads with a visionary leadership driving project development & sales for Agile Power Group utilising his business acumen with entrepreneurial drive, which has led him to become a globally recognised industry influencer and pioneer within the floating power and energy sector. Patrick has a proven track record delivering large scale power projects globally, driving geographical growth with foresight to identify and capitalise on first market mover advantages.
Technical Director & Partner - Scott Craig MEng, CEng, MIET
Scott is an Executive Director and Chartered Engineer with 30 years' experience of the global power industry with considerable expertise spanning engineering, project management, operations, P&L management, business development, strategy and growth leadership focused on the distributed power generation, renewables and transmission & distribution sectors. Scott has held multiple executive leadership, senior operational and engineering positions within professional services, advisory, B2B service and project delivery organizations ranging from publicly-listed PLCs to family owned businesses and also PE-backed start-ups. This wide variety of professional experience has been built whilst Scott has worked and lived internationally over the last 20+ year period.
Special Advisor - Dr Derek Shepherd
Dr Shepherd spent more than 35 years in the power sector with Aggreko as the executive director overseeing the firm's expansion across Central and South America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
He was also chairman and founding director of University of Edinburgh spinout company NGenTec Ltd, developer of a permanent magnet generator for wind turbines.
Shepherd was also a non-executive director of Ashtead Technology Rentals in Aberdeen, Houston and Singapore, Avalon Aviation Services in Dubai and Libertine FPE (a free piston engine start-up) as well as a special advisor to KarPower International, a Turkish company which convert ships into floating power stations.
